I love my food. So when the doctor told me I had to switch to a low cholesterol lifestyle, it was a radical lifestyle change.
I loved my fried. I loved my butter. Decadent sauces and regular pork belly roasts. My favourite pastime is trying new restaurants in my neighbourhood and ordering the naughtiest thing on the menu. It felt like someone took away all my toys.
So I was adamant I would make the most of low cholesterol living, and find healthy and delicious recipes so I would not just tolerate a low cholesterol lifestyle, but love it.
On the way, I lost a lot of weight too, from making healthier choices and eating better food.
So, I decided to share what I learnt, and invite others along on the journey.
